Happenings recently...

Haven't updated in a long time, so I'll post something today.

Anyway, to recap, like what The Boy With No Name said, You & Me, I'm Yours and Whatsername went to Sentosa on Friday. But before that, we watched Race To Witch Mountain at Vivocity. Not too bad overall but slightly crappy. That aside, by the time the clock struck eight we had decided that it was our best outing ever! Actually I'm not sure, but it's definitely a top three.

What can three people do in Sentosa? This question was posed to me by Ace of Spades, and it was indeed a very intellectually-stimulating question. It made me think. And get an answer, of course.

So, I shall recap how we spent our three hours or so at Siloso Beach. With no visible sun whatsoever, our mood was dampened at first, but we managed to entertain ourselves with the marvelous invention that is... the beach ball!

We used it to play basketball at first, to which Whatsername promptly decided to attitude us and refuse to use his hands, rather using his legs and head to try and get the ball into the hoop, although more often than not the ball ends up somewhere far away. Retard. After shooting hoops, we played an exciting 1v1 between You & Me and I'm Yours (although I'm sure Whatsername would disagree on the "exciting" part) where the latter completed an epic comeback by winning 3-2 after having gone down 2-0. And repeated that feat in the second 1v1 match we played after that.

Sandwiched between the two 1v1 matches was a period of time where we played soccer. As can be expected when you play on the beach, the ball lands in the water. Thankfully there was a helpful tourist swimming about to retrieve the ball for us. Other than that, we tried making ramps to chip the ball and inconspicuously kicked the ball in the direction of two hot girls, allowing us to run to retrieve it and sneak a closer look. Of course, this was instigated by I'm Yours, who then tried to feign innocence, blaming it on the "wind" and it being an "accident". And then an utter pimp of a tourist went over and got a photo with them, which prompted our attempt to do one better and get their number.

And as expected, with the charms of us three, we would have gotten their numbers, except that they decided to leave before we could, so oh well. We're safe in the knowledge that we could have if we wanted to. And we did. Never mind.

So, three hours later, our bag of chips was ravaged by the lone mynah (sneaky son of a bird) and we buried it in the sand, much to the disdain of the lifeguard. Sadly, he was stuck at his outpost and could do no harm to us. We snuck off and taunted the NPCC people having a camp of some sort over there with a rendition of Purple Light, but they ignored us. Sadly.

Thus ends our epic Friday, after a sushi picnic under the lack of stars at Harbourfront. Which was slightly gay as Whatsername had already gone home, and You & Me and I'm Yours attracted many a stare from the passers-by wondering about our sexuality. But yes, we are glad to announce that we are straight, and any girls (particularly the two we saw at Sentosa) are free to leave their numbers behind.

OKAY KIDDING. WE'RE GAY. HAHAHA.

Or not.

In other news, the three of us have a camp beginning tomorrow and ending Thursday, so it will be down to The Boy With No Name to keep this place going in our absence. Onwards and upwards!
